Collaboration is everything when it comes to the film industry, from screenwriting to film production. That’s why networking with other professionals is a must if you are going to ultimately succeed in your craft. Following are just a few  local groups and organizations that can help you on your journey. 

d68b328f-cb2e-4fda-a056-c48242d3f358[1]Nashville Women in Film and Television –  is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized and dedicated to advance professional development and achievement for women working in all aspects of film, television and all other screen-based interactive media.

Nashville Film Festival – NashFilm showcases the work of independent, filmmakers, screenwriters, & musicians. The 50th anniversary of the festival is set  for Oct. 3 -12, 2019 at the Regal Hollywood 27 Cinema.

Nashville Filmmakers Meetup – The Nashville Filmmakers Meetup is a community designed to foster collaboration between filmmakers of every kind. Whether it’s the big screen, the small screen, or the web, members come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

Nashville Filmmakers Guild – is a 501(c)(3) organization that exists to empower the lives of film and video creatives to grow, give and create

Tennessee Film Lab (TFL) –  is a film development initiative that utilizes innovative technology combined with proven business models to create a sustainable and thriving motion picture industry in Tennessee. The TFL is administered by the Nashville Filmmakers Guild.

Belcourt Theatre –  is a nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to presenting the best of independent, documentary, world, repertory and classic cinema. The Belcourt provides opportunities for people of all ages to discover, explore and learn through the power of film.
