Over 30 people joined in-person and online at TSA’s Open House at Nashville Film Institute last Wednesday. In addition to two lively ‘Open Mic’ sessions as Melissa and Tracy pitched their loglines, we also announced TSA’s new ‘Script School’ program.

Script School is a free educational program which lets writers set deadlines and hold themselves accountable. The program will consist of 10 sessions of instruction and guidance, followed by 8 sessions of writing accountability. Each session will be separated by 2-3 weeks to give writers plenty of time to work on the homework assignments while maintaining forward progress. Script School classes begin on February 19.

Moving forward, TSA will meet every Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Nashville Film Institute (191 Polk Ave. 37210). Those who can’t make it in person can still participate via Zoom (subscribe to get the Zoom link in TSA's "Fade In" newsletter). As always, watch TSA's website Calendar or our Facebook page for the most recent updates on our events.

If you are ready to present material a future TSA Open Mic session, click here reserve a spot and book a date.
