Page 2 Screen, a half-hour TV series focusing on screenwriting, local filmmaking, and Tennessee’s film industry premieres in August on the NECAT Network in Nashville. The series, which uses a talk-show format and a live studio audience, is produced by volunteer members of the Tennessee Screenwriting Association, a not-for-profit educational organization formed in 1988.

Bob Saenz. Bob has written over 20 movies which have aired on broadcast & cable TV, VOD and in theaters – everything from dark comedies to Hallmark movies. Bob’s screenwriting book, That’s Not the Way It Works offers real-world stories about the business, how to focus your story, and what producers and agents are looking for.
William Akers. Will has written scripts for the networks, a studio feature film, and he’s the author of Your Screenplay Sucks (& 100 Ways to Make It Great). His decades of experience as a screenplay consultant and screenwriting instructor give him a no-nonsense approach on getting screenplays tight and focused.
Jeffrey Alan Chase. Jeff is the current President of the Tennessee Screenwriting Association and has been involved with TSA since the late 90’s. Jeff covers screenplay format, structure, characters, and plotting in a way that new writers can understand and veterans could use a refresher course on.
Episodes are released weekly on the NECAT Network, which can be seen on Channel 19 in Nashville and on smart TV’s that offer the NECAT app on Roku. Air dates are Monday at 1:00 pm and Thursday at 10:00 pm. Repeat viewings can also be seen on NECAT’s affiliate channels (see the NECAT schedule). Episodes will upload to the TSA’s YouTube channel a month after their NECAT premiere.
