TSA meets on Zoom

While the world is embracing social distancing during the current health crisis, the Tennessee Screenwriting Association has moved its weekly meetings online via Zoom. Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. (Central) each Wednesday.

To join the meeting, visit https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83626944321?pwd=QXpyRzNoZXFTZ3c1SGFqdmdoWXYzZz09 and enter Meeting ID: 836 2694 4321. The meeting is password protected. If you don’t have the password, you’ll be placed in a waiting room where the moderator will be able to grant you permission to enter the meeting.

If the schedule is open and you are a paid member, you can sign up at the start of the meeting to present materials. You will also have the opportunity to reserve a spot to present at future meetings. Up to three spots are available at each meeting.

If there are open slots remaining, the group typically watches and analyzes a movie or participates on a group writing project. Meetings also occasionally feature guest speakers on the art and craft or business of screenwriting.

Tennessee Screenwriting Association

About TSA

The Tennessee Screenwriting Association (TSA) is a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to the art and craft of screenwriting. If you are in the Nashville area, we meet from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the Watkins College of Art, Design & Film. Screenwriters at any level are welcome.

Mission Statement

Tennessee Screenwriting Association (TSA) is working to develop avenues to help our members and community prepare for the real world of the entertainment business.

TSA uses and promotes Classic American Narrative Structure (C.A.N.S.), the structure used as the backbone of American film and in use by the American studio system since the advent of talkies in the 1930s.
