Get your spook on! TSA launches Halloween short script contest

Got a scary story to tell? The Tennessee Screenwriting Association is holding a horror-themed short screenwriting contest for our Halloween meeting. Writers, bring your five-page script to the Oct. 31 meeting at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film. Scripts will be read live by our stellar cast of members with the best script to be voted on at the conclusion of the meeting. Make them scary, shocking, filled with thrills and chills or unnerving suspense. Monsters, aliens, serial killers, it’s your script. Thrill us. The only rule: Scripts must tell a complete story and not be just a scene belonging to a larger story. What’s at stake? That’s to be determined. Maybe a bag of candy, maybe a free annual membership in the group. Definite bragging rights. Definite fun. So, give it a shot. We dare you.
